Meet Mollie
LET’S GET PERSONAL
With no idea where to start, I first want to say thank you for being here! I have always been a creative person, beginning my writing journey at the age of eight with short stories and drawing to my heart’s content throughout my childhood. I am so proud of the journey my career has taken, so let’s dive in!
My career began in Washington, D.C. where I worked in the legislative branch showcasing policy initiatives within Congress through public relations and design. I gained vast knowledge of different, complex policy issues and expressed them in high-level, meaningful ways for diverse audiences. Growing up with an agricultural background, I was proud to help craft important messaging on behalf of the House Agriculture Committee for the 2018 Farm Bill. During this campaign, I developed a significant amount of content ranging from written materials like talking points and press releases to digital content including graphics, videography and photography. This experience was one for the memory books. I loved the team I worked with and learned so much about myself and my career preferences.
Following my stint in politics, I found myself working in a full-service advertising agency where I focused on expanding my public relations skills. I was the primary content developer for a new client, which was exciting to craft and develop that voice and brand. While this was an amazing experience, I missed telling stories through creative design.
I then went back to politics haha. Apparently, I just wasn’t ready to give up on the hustle and bustle! I went on to tailor my career to be solely focused on design, both print and digital.
After becoming engaged, I decided to move home to Nebraska and was granted an opportunity in the corporate world. This exciting opportunity allowed me to lead the brand, design and vision of the company. I utilized all my previous experiences to trail-blaze a new era, showcasing the company’s many accomplishments with high-quality visual representation.
Whew! We made it to the end. My career has taken so many turns but one thing remained, my love for creative design and artful storytelling. Enough about me though, this is about you. So let’s get to work!
